You will require a credit card to secure a booking.
Credit card payments may be charged a surcharge of 2.65%.
You agree that the card provided is either your own or you have the consent of the legal card holder to use it, no charges are made to the provided card prior to check in (unless specifically stated in your rate plan).
Payment will be required upon check in unless alternative arrangements have been made with management prior to check in.
Credit Card details are required for Pre Authorisation purposes upon or prior to check in. Kauri Motel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards for the full amount of the booking to ensure payment of accounts is made.
Eftpos cards: We reserve the right to pre-authorise a damage deposit of $100 to the account which will be removed after inspection of the unit upon check out.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings made on our website or booked direct may be cancelled 48 hours prior to 2pm on arrival date without incurring a fee. If a booking is cancelled within 48 hours of 2pm on the arrival date you will be charged the first night of your booking.
Bookings made via other websites are non-refundable.
Child rates apply up to 16 years old. Thereafter, adult rates apply.
Check In Policy
Standard: All groups checking in must have somebody at least 18 years of age. Photo identification will be required upon check in.
By prior arrangement only: we have an after hours key safet - please contact us at least 24hours before the day of arrival for the code. Arrival after hours without preadvising us may incur an additional charge of $20.
Smoking Policy: Please note that our property is smokefree therefore all our units are non-smoking. Should smoking occur in the rooms a $150 cleaning fee will be charged.
Damage: Any damage to the room, furnishing or property will be charged direct to the credit card held on file. If applicable we will also charge you for any resultant loss of income including any recovery costs incurred by the motel.
LOCK & CLOSE your room door on departure. Theft/damage as a result of guest negligence will result in the Lead Guest being charged for the financial loss incurred by the business.

We collect your personal information in order to:
• make bookings and provide accommodation to you - to be able to run our business.
We collect this information from you verbally upon your making a booking, via our website, when you provide us with your business card or, by completing our guest registration form.
Besides our staff, we share this information with:
• our cloud based booking and property management system in order to be able to make accommodation bookings and run our accommodation business.
Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter first and last name, up to date contact details and valid credit card details, we'll be unable to provide you with our services.
We keep your information safe by storing only in our booking system and only allowing certain staff to access it.
We keep your information for three years at which point we securely destroy it by securely erasing all digital data.
You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
